RIP HM Queen Fabiola of Belgium (1928-2014)
Sad news of the passing of HM Queen Fabiola of Belgium (born Doña Fabiola de Mora y Aragón; 11th June, 1926–5th December, 2014). Spanish born Queen Fabiola was queen consort of Belgium for 33 years (1960-1993) through her marriage to King Baudouin until his death. As the royal couple had no children, the crown then passed to King Baudouin’s younger brother, who became King Albert II of Belgium until his abdication in 2013. King Albert II was succeeded by his eldest child, King Philippe of Belgium.
